Thus, a program that allows us to recover our deleted digital photos would be very useful. Recover My Photos is such a program that allows you to restore your lost photos due to the fact that a memory card or hard drive have been formated. But not only that; the program also lets you search for other deleted media files, such as music, graphics and video. The program's interface lets you choose the type of files you want to recover. Thus, if your memory card is used only for storing photos, you can save time by just asking the program to find and recover "Camera" files, i.e., JPG, Canon RAW, Olympus RAW and TIFF formats. Once the program has scanned the card, you can preview and select the files you want to recover, as well as choose if you want to save them in a different format and store in your hard drive or burn onto a CD-ROM.
The trial version allows you to scan and preview the recoverable files, but you can't save them. To take advantage of all the program's features you need to purchase a license.
